Want a Pet?

          Would you like to own a pet? I would want a pet dog or cat because they remind me of good friends. However, they would need to meet certain requirements, such as being hypoallergenic and friendly. I would love this kind of pet.

          I used to have a best friend named Joshua about 5 years ago. We lived directly across from each other and played a lot together. We played new games and old every day from right after school to when we had to sleep, and we often ate together. We even sometimes went together to fun places like amusement parks and water parks. He had 4 cats that were really nice, but I was allergic to them. My mom had to give me allergy medicine every time I went over to his house. When I had a mild allergic reaction to them, it was very annoying, especially if I was playing. I would like to have a cat like Joshua’s except it will have to be hypoallergenic. Such a cat will remind me of what a great friend Joshua was.

          Another good friend I have known is Elliot. Like Joshua, he went on many trips with me, and we had a lot of fun. He had a white small dog named Miracle, and he was really cute. (He was also naughty. Once, I caught him eating something he wasn’t supposed to when I lifted him up to my seat during dinner and said, “Look at him!”) He was hypoallergenic, and I would like him a lot if I saw him more often. I would love it if I actually owned such a dog. He would be so adorable and would remind me of the good times with Eliot.

          I sometimes imagine if I had a pet cat like Joshua’s or a pet dog like Eliot’s, but I imagine having Miracle more. If I had Miracle, he would be such a cute dog. He might be a little bit loud and annoying, but every time he comes to me, I relax. If I was angry or sad, he would help me. He would also guide me through stressful times. I would love this.

          In conclusion, I want a hypoallergenic dog like Miracle so that I can be relaxed and reminded of my good friends. I hope that soon, my mom will actually feel like getting a dog.
